Libertarian Platform Social Liberties The Libertarians believe that the government should stay out of the way citizens live their lives, not favouring or rejecting Civil Liberties. We believe that issues like, Gay Marriage and the Right to Bear Arms should be left up to the individual rather than the state. Economic Liberties The Libertarians believe that a Free Market economy, with little to no regulation is the the most efficient economic system. The Libertarians believe that the best way to regulate the market is through tax cuts for businesses. Welfare The Libertarians believe that the government should stay out of welfare because of the substantial cost to the state and its citizens. Rather we believe in giving tax cuts to corporations and charities that are highly involved in charitable activities. Environment The Libertarians believe that the Environment is something that needs to be persevered and that the Environment is a serious problem. We believe that businesses profits and the environment should both be equally taken care of. We believe in environmental regulation through tax credits to businesses who follow the suggested guidelines. Role of Government The Libertarians believe in a small sound government. We believe that the Military, Legislation and the Law & Justice system should be the only things kept fully under government control. Foreign Affairs The Libertarians believe that the state should not interfere in the matters of other states unless requested or a diplomatic solution can not be reached. We believe that war is the final option rather than one of the first. Edited by Zach, Apr 4 2015, 10:43 AM.
