Outcome

I have done the shadow senate elections and this is the outcome:

Peruvian Highlands 4 (13.8%)
Zach21GF 7 (24.1%)
Moscuro 2 (6.9%)
CDland 8 (27.6%)
Zach 8 (27.6%)
Total Votes: 29

We cannot call this any official. It is still clear that CDland and Zach would have won but 7 votes haven't been cast so many nations didn't vote. This outcome isn't a true representation.

Since I know that we use a modified version of the system used in the Shadow Elections it wouldn't be weird if we removed the only barrier that seperates the 2 systems

Vote for 1, or more, or all would be the change. You can give your vote to all who you support which means that you can give more support to those you like.

It looks like this:
20 voters= 20 * number of candidates (which is 5) = 100 possible votes
Peruvian ../20
Zach21 ../20
Moscuro ../20
CDland ../20
Zach ../20

Those 20 voters can give there votes to all candidates they approve and don't give points to those they don't approve. The persons with the highest approval rating out of all voters, wins (in this case CDland and Zach).

I think in the next election we should try normal voting but then put an approval voting poll Right below it that way we see how it is like when all voters contribute.
