I'm hungry
Section 1.
All Wages of Senators, Justices, and the Executive Government will be cut by 1/3

Notes:
Okay, I'm bringing back a bill that I had no idea failed (because it keeps getting buried) and adding harsher measures.
Guess AS is really making me go insane.

Statistics (since I never really noticed the demands)
This month, AS will hand out 76AD in wages, around ~50% of our income.
The income is expected to decrease with new map measures to help the economy
By cutting 1/3 we will have wages to around ~50AD

You guys may think that I'm a liberal spendaholic (which is partly true) but I do not wish to see government funds getting thrown in bureaucratic nonsense. I get the concerns that it will help the economy by spreading all the funds, and I get that, but this will make a small difference on their funds if they participate well in the region.

I don't think I ever proposed a biweekly salary, I proposed a weekly salary.

I think Zach21GF is on a leave of absence, so you could either change your vote to an "Aye" or "Nay" which would be decisive or make no change which would also resolve the bill in a "Nay". Keep in mind that defeating the bill leaves the current salary structure in place.

Government Wage Reduction and Modification Act

CONCERNED that federal salaries are consuming a large proportion of the budget,
ACKNOWLEDGING that salaries do play a role in the functioning of the economy,
BELIEVING that weekly salaries will create a more dependable stream of income for government workers,

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Senate of the Allied States, that Title III Article 2 of the Forum Economy Act is hereby amended as follows:

Article II: Principal Government Salaries
§1

1. The principal government officers of The Allied States shall be compensated by the Treasury on the first day of each month every week.
2. No citizen may be compensated for holding more than one federal office.

§2

1) The President of the Allied States, Vice President, and Cabinet Officers shall receive a salary of 400 Allied Dollars per month 2 Allied Dollars per week.
2) The Vice President, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, and Chief Justice and Allied States Senators shall receive a salary of 250 Allied Dollars per month. 1 Allied Dollar per week.
3) Members of the Cabinet, members of the Supreme Court, and members of the Senate shall each receive a salary of 200 Allied Dollars per month 1 Allied Dollar per week on weeks that cases are pending before the Supreme Court.

Mr. President Pro Tempore, we're voting on this bill, right? Or are we voting on the bill in the original post?

The original proposal.

I will change my vote to nay.

CdLand, I would just make a new thread for your proposal.

Since all senators have voted. I move to close voting.
