Amnesty is hereby defined as the protection of an individual from charges related to illegal immigration Illegal immigration is defined as illegally entering the Allied States with the intent of staying here Article 1: Amnesty Section 1: Amnesty will be granted to people currently in the Allied States who meet one or more of the current criteria:
Section 2: Amnesty will be given for one additional year if the person becomes unemployed, has recently finished his/her education, or has to take care of a newborn Section 3: Anyone who commits a felony is automatically stripped of his/her protection, and can be stripped if a court gives an order. Article 2: Permanent Residence Section 1: After one year of amnesty, an illegal immigrant may apply for the Permanent Resident status and enjoy the full benefits of it. I think this is fine on principle but the following should be added: Section 3 Permanent residents who gain their status through this amnesty program shall not be eligible for welfare or food stamps for 3 years. |

Then you write a new law that forbids them and other immigrants. Besides, one year should be enough for claiming welfare for a certain period of time |
