hi rongren , i don't understand why is it intentionally underexposed but i see the whole picture all very clear leh , background not blur at all ... ?

is this another kind of photography ? what is strobe outdoor ?

ming> a "correct" exposure according to the camera would be to make the scene captured an average of 18% grey.

In this case, underexposure would mean to deliberately make the scene darker than what would have been the correct exposure.ie. The background should have been brighter, but in this case if u noticed for some of my photos posted, the background is quite dark .. eg #7. The background is deliberately underexposed. However the subject (model) is still properly lit by the strobe. (strobe = studio light. Outdoor strobe = outdoor studio light)

Never know TFCD can be so time consuming... Unlike making picture for web, have to look out for minor minor details.  Seriously editing portraits not easy as simple as adjust level, resize crop... When blow out picture .. whoaa..

Anyway, I be finishing soon...

I agree with you totally... can't wait to see more of your pixs taken with that G...

Cheers

I have posted rest of pictures under "Solo Exhibition", too many..
Since we (including galdor) in same group, you can compare your shots and mine and see what's the difference

No lah, everyone's pixs better than mine.. how to compare??

Then again, You also just made me realise high range telephoto lens don't really have to be closeups all the time... I will try to stand further and compose better pixs when I use my prime again.

Cheers

Great control of lighting....

Well done bro...

If you want some comment, just make sure you crop the photo not too close to the joint otherwise looks amputated. Other than that, its great.
