*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Hi Cecil , i did it with PS7 . 2 layers , sharpened the eyes & erase away the eye layer ... :wacko: ... Don't know how to explain leh ... :sweat:

hi bulldog,

i think what ming did is this:

[1] open his photo in photoshop (original "1st layer")
[2] create a duplicate "2nd layer" (ie with the same photo in it) + a mask (to prevent the duplicate layer from showing thru to the original layer)
[3] apply sharpening to the duplicate layer until he was happy with how the eyes look
[4] erase the part of the mask over the sharpened eyes, allowing the eyes in the 2nd layer to show thru to the original photo in the 1st layer

the effect would be that he would have the photo in the 1st layer (minus the eyes) + the sharpened eyes in the 2nd layer (minus the rest of the photo) - a composite, if you would...

at least, that's what i think he meant... :P
