To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Since I'm on the bokeh test.. decided to take out the 50mm f1.4 for testing as well.. :)

Just to make sure both photos are in focus.. at f2.8

lens 1 bokeh look nicer, sharper also, but it really depend on the focusing is right on or not.

I find lens #2 bokeh is smoother.. :unsure:

It's quite subjective at time :sweat:

I mainly look at the reflection on the glass/plastic bottle spot, #1 circle seem to merge with the surrounding better while #2 seem like have more easilier recognised circle edge. Well, it's too small and not obvious to tell really.

can you do a test at f1.4 for shot number 1? i want to see how soft it is compare to 2.8. usually lenses are very soft at wide open.

I prefer lens 1, both sharpness and bokeh.
Lens 2 has some CA effect, yellow fringing in this case, which affect the colour correctness, also contrast.

Power of prime shows!
