*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

yes ming yr 75-300mm is perfectly suited for these kind of shot...
u need to shoot in shutter priority mode around 1/30sec or below...while shooting in panning mode

For panning, there is this HSBC Wakeboard competition at Bedok reservoir this weekend. A good event to try out your panning skill :D

thanks! last min decision to head down as the sky was so gloomy.... DAMN pack too even on sundays :blink:

btw wat lens were u using? 17-35?

i was using a 70-210... some shots cant take cos too close, wish i had 2 cams, one wif a wider range :(

yup the kit 70-300 can do it as wat cjng mentioned...

btw panning is not really difficult, it juz need practicing! i've been using pre-focus for manual and AFC for AF, shutter priority, set it, and slower it down to get the right settings, if CANT get it, and NO more chance to shoot, PP :P

if can't get it then no more chance lo ... :sweat: any where in singapore will there be a spot to train 'panning' ? i believe long before you bros get to shoot so good , there is always a place or something for you to train & practice . :)
