To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Hi,
Just got this idea on how we can share the editing flow on the B&W conversion btw members.
I'll post a photo here - in color and members can download the photo and do the B&W conversion on the photo and post back in this thread.

By looking at various B&W photos posted, we can learn some editing skill among the members here.

Here is the photo.. (not the best and that is the challenge - how we can convert a bad photo to something very nice..)

this reminds me of anyone or can i start a thread on photo editing to enhanced the ptictures . i am not good at pp , can this be a reason to start a thread here ? is it allow for a thread like this ? :huh:

Hmm.. for prize, let see.. how is the PS quality first.. can meetup later and go thru the flow over a meal :sweat:

Rationale: From photo I figure focus on cruise ship, so left that in color, didnt like the glaring light from sky, so shifted the light focus behind buildings instead....and then give it some old grainy look and green tones for old b&w look....

I like the slightly wash out effect on the bottom right and left.. bring the focus back to the cruise ship :thumbsup:
