Do we need to calibrate our laptop monitors also? If so what is the recommended calibrating software/gadget? I'm using a Vaio. Thanks. |

Doc, Yes.. if you use LCD, I think you need to calibrate the color. Actually right now, there is a good promotion on the spyder color calibrator at amazon.com.. I think it's only US$54. |

is there a standard for color calibration then ? what if i calibrate my screen to fit what i feel like looking at , can others accept the look of the pics ? |

The whole idea of calibration is to have standard. If the monitor is calibrated to the standard basically what you see on your monitor will be the same as other who had calibrated to the same standard. If you follow you own standard, no one will see exactly what you saw. :lol: |
