To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

BTW... do you bring the setup out for macro shoots? seems a good way to minimise the effect of wind...

no need to bring tripod la , mine is the heavy metal one , not the carbon built . first time shoot , just bring camera will do ... :sweat: , will bring a monopod instead .

The last time I went for a macro shoot... I was gald I brought my tripod... I realised more much handshake I have... almost impossible for a handheld shot. :(

i believe myself got quite a stable hand lor , otherwise what is worst than shooting with handshake is cutting vegetables with a knife , all meats & veges become blood red ! :lol: :lol: :sweat:

i will just bring along the monopod for now . :)

OT OT OT liao , :sweat: gathering outings on the other section leh , so those joining can see , don't have to see here see there . :thumbsup:

my macro shots are closed enough but why is it not sharp ... ? is there anything :unsure: to do with PP ?

use a tripod to avoid moving. and MF to control your focus. at a shallow dof, e.g. 2.8, and close up under 1 foot, any slight movement can put you oof. remember my mantis shot? i had to push myself against the wall and window to stay steady since i had no time to grab and set up my tripod, ringflash etc.

- thankfully the mantis was on a window ledge along a common corridor and not in a bush
- thankfully no one called the police :lol: :sweat:

thanks bro trigger , most of the time shooting macro , a tripod is a MUST to bring along ? but when using a flash , doesn't it helps a bit in slight movements ?

Bro for mi I dont use triport or monoport... hehe maybe my set up not as heavy as u guys Just my PNS cam with 2+5 filter... My setup for my FZ if Amode F11 1/30 with iso 80... Mi also a newbie cant affort a marco lens.. :knock:

Though not using Sony system , but good to know what are the settings used to shoot .
