I am doing some PP for facial shots (not elderly), and would like to ask how to reduce wrinkle around the eyes - those caused by laughing. What are the tools, and tricks used.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Haha...

I think what I doing now is playing around with layer, use gaussian blur, then adjust opacity of this layer. The only thing is I have to get the right values for the blurring.

Do tell me if there are other methods.

Well, gaussian blur will affect the texture of the skin and is probably ok for younger ladies, but doesn’t work for men or an older person. one of the approach is probably as follow.

1)Create a duplicate layer.
2)Use “Patch” or “Healing Brush” tools which ever suite you better, to smoothen out the wrinkle.
3)Then reduce the opacity of the duplicate layer to bring back some of the original details of the wrinkle.

The idea is that if you smooth out the skin too much, it looks fake. So just lower the opacity until the wrinkle is just visible but not to obtrusive. And there you have it. :)
