we use dewa's unit to reverse mould lor

btw where did you get the info abt the 330v feed?

Good idea, clay mound on the EP2 Plug, and produce a fitting plug, then we have to disassemble bro dewakarma's EP2 - and find out what's inside - and try to locate identical parts for this item - and determine the polarity. :)

Info gotten from here: http://www.mhohner.de/minolta/flashcomp_acc.php

verbiage taken from the site:

"Note that this battery pack and the EP-1 below are not simple battery holders. They contain a high-voltage generator, and the battery packs feed 330V to the flash unit! So you can't easily make your own battery pack out of a battery holder (besides the fact that you can't buy the required plug anywhere). "

** shudder **

can't imagine if you have a break in the cable and accidentally touch it. might look like this:

hmm.. how come bro dewakarma's suddenly so quiet?

check out this link

There is a photo of the circuit board showing you the transfomer to it setup to 330V.

Happy Viewing :D

thanks bro, yeah, it looks a little complicated without the schematic diagram.. then again, at such voltage, best not to mess around with it, just buy a unit and mod the batt for it.

:@ :D :3 :) :] :x :o :z :> ;)
Complicated... I cannot trace the circuit by looking at the picture of the PCB. Gotta get all the specs of the components as well.

I feel that this is a dangerous mod.

When operating normally 330Volts @ 2.5W (7.5mA) would give you a bad, bad shock.

there's a serious risk of nasty injuries if we get this wrong. i suggest we stop thinking about a mod before we decide to roll the dice and do something stupid, unless we get the schematic drawings, and have a certified EE look at it and tell us what can/ not be done safely.

can just imagine the punned headlines: "Wedding Photographer Explodes Onto The Scene"
