Bro zack... Yes... a player of lens.... 'lensesier' (as like womaniser) :sofunny:

Anyway, Bro Ming... No point ask question...
Teacher zack say keep it simple, talk less learn more...

Teacher psccy say talk theory no point, learn by trying is best...
fix a date, I lend you the lens... no worries... :thumbsup1:

point to note... 500mm F/8 reflex is a fixed aperture lens... can only shoot F/8, nothing bigger or smaller...
So far, difficult to shoot flying bird or running animal... BUT slow creature ok...
Go to the lens review to see the bokeh and test shots...

Well, how often do you visit the zoo? Once a month, twice a year or thrice a year?
Taking pic of animals in enclosure, 300mm should be fine. Unless you go safari often and want to be a pro full time NG photographer, then its better off getting a 600mm prime, like JulianW.

The BEST tele-lens in this world is your LEGS. If your legs cant get you to that distance you want, shoot & crop.
