PP with PS and picasa retain exif, but not if you resize them with other tools like visualizer image pro. perhaps other PP s/w have selectable options to retain exif info? |

You PP with PS still retain the EXIF? I can retain the EXIF only if I use Lightroom. If using the PS CS3, save JPEG from RAW, the EXIF lost. |

haven't tried cs3... but if you convert from raw to jpeg, hmm.. i assume you will lose something, but even in that case, you have the original to refer to for exif. |

Can see from original , but my posts in my Photo A Day cannot see by using mouse clicks ... Others might want to check my Exif info on my photos
& they are not available ... ?I am still using PS 7.0 , when prompt to save file , i will save as JPEG . Then the EXIF info is gone ...

then that may be something to do with the site you host your pics on. like flickr iirc, you can upload a full-sized image but they will auto-resize it for you. that process may trim off the exif info. i don't use them so not sure. another way to save exif info is to include it in your post, may be a little more troublesome but at least that is readily available to your viewers.

In CS if you doing "SAVE FOR WEB", the EXIF will be removed. To retain the EXIF, do "SAVE AS...". |

I always use Save As before i send photos to host site ... #01 Save As ![]() #02 ??? I just Ok it ... ![]() #03 EXIF lost ... ![]() Panasonic FX9 1/400 f7.5 ISO80 I am fine if the EXIF did not attached together with the photo , but it would definitely be best if i can have it together with the photo . So next time i can just check my EXIF on the spot rather than going back to my photos to check ...

Ha ha...saw something on your screen capture. Did you ever save your edit file in TIF ? If you want to save between edit, save in PSD. Open your JPG for editing, do your edit, save in PSD. When you ready for web publishing, resize image and do "SAVE AS" of the PSD file. |
