F56 + F36 + built in flash + bellow + Reflector. A bit clumsy but powerful.

Somehow, as bro excelglsi says, the lighter your setup, the better .. I think I see some truth in it..

Ming, given another chance.. I will still try this setup again. I was not able to do so properly last time because my F36 broke again.

Next macro outing maybe I will find smaller manual flash to use...still want to try double setup - flash left top with reflector and right bottom with diffuser.

I would want to try too , but its heavy for me ... I like more freedom moving around shooting vertical & horital .

Unless i going to use with a Tripod . I think this powerful setup is best for Still-Life or Flowers .

So did you send your 2 flashes to SSC already ? Or 1 by 1 ?

Send both.. in the end I sent in f56 only.

The f36 i took back. Service charge $80 excluding parts. I just ordered the part. Now waiting.

The f56, VERY BAD NEWS.. the motherboard badly corroded by the alkaline batteries I forgot to remove one time.. And the parts cost more than a brand new set.. :notmyday: :mymistake: :(

Will take it back and most likely take it apart like surgeon.. I dunno..

Moral of story.. always remove the batteries .. or it will be costly mistake..
