Always Newbie
GP has similar technology as Sanyo enelope as well. It's slightly cheaper.

As I don't use flash often and with enelope batteries I don't have to worry about flat batteries when I do need to use the flash. Now with A700, the flash is use even less. :)

How much for the F36 flash part and how did you find out on the part number ?

The max output of the charger only determine how long you need to charge the battery (unless the voltage is very different). Given the same charger, it will take longer to full charge a 2700mAH battery as compared to a 2100mAH.

The faster (1 hr charging) you charged up the battery, the hotter the battery will get, the shorter its life span. As for self discharging, it is how the battery is designed and manufactured.

Bro clkoh, sad to hear wat had happened to your F56.
Cheers :)

trade secret..

Hahaha... SSC should know which part.. :)

Note that F36 and F56 have different hotshoe base. The shape is different. And the wiring on the 2 motherboards are slightly different. So have to get right one. And so .. no, I cannot take the part from my broken F56 to fix my F36.

Anyway.. Anyone with similar broken hot shoe bracket (F36 or F36, Sony/Minolta), and able to order the part, I can help replace it .. Just buy me coffee.. Let me know (in advance pls) when you collect from SSC, my office nearby haha...
