Oh, no worries. I'm sure our bros in the East would be glad to help you too.

I dun really bring my cam on weekdays due to work but it's almost stuck to me on weekends. Sometimes, I would bring my cam and go shopping with my family and returned home w/o a single shot taken and my mum & wife will comment that why i always bring my cam when I dun use it. :faint:

Wah -_-;
But can understand , Sony is super lightweight, can't imagine lugging a nikkon around :x

Ya big park, but if i take ppl climbing the spider thing wait ppl think i tikko :X

Edit :

I read the exposure guide thing.. just to clarify...

Question :

When the object that i'm taking , is excessively bright , i compensate by adjusting my EV to +1

And when its excessively dark i adjust it to -1?

Or was it the other way rd -.-;

Sry, but when i adjust +1 it normally makes an object 'brighter'
so if i take something very bright shouldn't it be -EV not +?
*Confused*

Welcome to the Alpha family. :)

Both the 50mm f1.4 and the 50mm f2.8 Macro are great lenses. If you intend to use for portraits, I would recommend the 50mm f1.4 for the great bokeh it can produce and the ability to focus fast in low light conditions.

For the 50mm f2.8 Macro, it's a dedicated macro lens and the Auto Focusing is pretty slow. Well, since, in Macro, most of us will shoot manual, so it doesn't really bother us with the AF part. Depending on what you want to take in Macro, a 50mm may be too short for insects too. However, it still has it's uses, it's a wonderful lens for taking product shots.

Hope this helps bro and look forward to meeting you in our outings. :)
