Yup, I think a dry toothbrush will work here. |

dipping it briefly in seawater prob helps too - i know someone who dipped his VG - at least we know that thing is water-tight  but seriously, toothbrush. or a plastic or wooden toothpick to scrape the really stubborn bits, don't use a needle or safety pin though.. the metal may be too abrasive for the rubber. |

Hmm, I tried a used toothbrush, but think it's not very effective. Do I need to use a new one, or need to choose specific brands or types, soft bristle, hard, flexible??? Or really need toothpaste or seawater??

Wah!! Your dirt so strong ah ?? Are you brushing right? up and down? instead of left and right? If not try brass brush? Think wiping cloth with a bit of those fabric cleaner (3m type) can help? Or mild detergent/soap? Test first before use.. I have not tried it.. Avoid using tissue at all. Cotton buds can but cannot reach the grooves. Toothbrush shd be ok with mild detergent/soap? |
