Hi bros, as you know I'm a MF lens user try to find out any of you guys use Leica lens before, currently or presently or intent to. I'm refering to M42 mount lens of course. Need some feed back or tips for this lens. Cause I'm starting to eyeing some of it at ebay. So if any of you guys knows about this gems, don't mind to share with me. |

the thought had crossed mind before, including the hassies but i always wondered, and still do, if the quality of images produced can compare to the lenses used on the bodies they were designed for. how much are they going for bro, the Leicas that you're eyeing, that is? may be worth buying to try out the Leica-Sony combination if not too expensive...

The only person i knw of who using the leica lens on A mount is thinkvision from Cs while the other is from the chinese A-mount forum http://forum.xitek.com/showthread.php?threadid=489079 |

Only use Peleng 8mm and Zeiss 35mm f/2.4 M42 lens on Alpha mount. Can't afford Leica

The cheapest I manage to find if I'm not wrong Is US$285. 90mm Leica Elmar. What make me attempted is the lens is fully metal jacket and do come in chrome. But mostly is R-mount & M mount, which I don't think so can apply to Alpha. Trying to look for the adapter but not in a market. But there's one guy from China. known as R.J. from ebay he willing to fabricated these type of mount for Alpha user if there is a big order. |

you already hav a diamond with you,bro. and you say can't afford. The one which cost a bom actually the R mount & M mount. M42 and M39 mount is still affordable from what you having right now. |
