Well, so far I have yet to get any CZ or G yet. But I know it wont be long.
Till then, I shoot with whatever lens I have. Hoping that one day, this passion of mine, can help me generate some income to sustain my BBB eventually.

i shudder...

basically i set myself a budget each week, a rolling total, so if i don't spend the "available" amount gets snowballed. helps me manage my spending, in a way, did well in 2005, 2006 slight overrun, then last year went through the roof, this year not even 5 months have passed and i'm almost kissing dec 08's balance. :faint:

funny i came across this thread now, i was updating my budget file today, a little concerned abt the total, then Ruby photo called, the bowens are back in stock and they've reserved a set for me.   i nearly wanted to turn ard before SSC and forget abt servicing my 7D if not meeting koh to pass him his wacom tablet.

ah, my fellow spender.. :)

but its still controlled spending. as i've always advocated, set a comfortable weekly budget and "roll" it in a spreadsheet (whatever that amount is - $10, $100 etc). then that way even if you overspend you will always be reminded and as long as one is disciplined enough and a good steward of his resources, he won't chalk up a huge investment in 6 mths and wonder why he's broke.

i've actually used this to let deals go by, believe it or not. ;)

The process of the BBB has been the most pleasurable moments for me ! Come to think of it , time cannot go back to stop some things i should not buy , but with the experience , i will know what i should & should not buy in the future .

Actually photography not tat ex considering lens have resell value if u mainten it well B)

When I was in my early 20's, I'm into mountain biking and it damn ex in singapore with every parts costing hundred to thousands.....and if u look at the amount of parts need to setup a bike and maintenance cost, u'll know photography is way better......just to give a few example of my expenses,
Frame/Body : $650/-
Tires : @ $100/- each for mid-range
Wheelset : $500/-
Front Sus : $1350/-
Handlebar : $120/-
Monthly Servicing : $20-50

Most of my parts r just among the top mid-range and I had two bikes last time.....
But when I sell them off after 4 years, only get back 25% not forgeting the injuries n scars I got from MTB.......
