To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Global Moderator Posts: 5,868 Group: Moderator Member #4 Joined: August 23, 2007	Dear members/bro/sis, Alphadslr Forum will turn ONE on 23Aug 2008. Its time to call for a celebration! The AlphaONE committee, hereby, who like to announce the following: Date: 23 Aug 2008 Time: from 2pm onwards till the following morning Venue: East of Singapore A chain of events will be planned and arranged for members to take part and enjoy. There will be surprises as well. As cost will be involved, it will be divided equally among members who are attending this celebration. Prices will be kept to the minimum whenever possible. Costing of the event will be published on this thread, once finalized, so as to be transparent to the members. Members are also encourage to post your suggestion/feedback on the other thread which has been pinned up in KPT, so that the committee can put into consideration. So, mark your calender and plan your schedule. We would like to see as many members as possible to attend this celebration. We ensure that this event will be fun-filled. Note: Need to pay. So the more the attendance, the lesser the cost per person. Once we have the no of attendance, we will be able to work out the costing and inform members the price you need to pay per person.
