Well, at least, I saw during one outing, Julian left his a700 + 70-200G SSM out at a field in a moderate rain rainfall until it finally intensified. The camera still worked. Bro Brand accidentally dipped his camera's VG into Tonle Sap. And it still worked. My camera and the two G lenses (70-200G and 28-70G) were caught in rain a few times, and both were quite drenched a few times to the point that water dripped from it, and both worked still.

i guess, small rain still ok. that time at jbp, my cam also kena rain, still works. my dad says, dslr should be able to withstand a certain amt of rain b4 it spoil. coz the cam was designed to be used outdoor in various conditions in mind. no worries. but then, after that day, i also scared lah. went hm 1st thing remove the batt n pop all my gears back into the dry cabi. that day was so humid that my lens condenses in my bag. Scary!!!!! |
