*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Well, at least, I saw during one outing, Julian left his a700 + 70-200G SSM out at a field in a moderate rain rainfall until it finally intensified. The camera still worked.

Bro Brand accidentally dipped his camera's VG into Tonle Sap. And it still worked.

My camera and the two G lenses (70-200G and 28-70G) were caught in rain a few times, and both were quite drenched a few times to the point that water dripped from it, and both worked still. :P

- For tracking individual thread, click on "Track Topic" at bottom page when viewing the thread.

i guess, small rain still ok. that time at jbp, my cam also kena rain, still works. my dad says, dslr should be able to withstand a certain amt of rain b4 it spoil. coz the cam was designed to be used outdoor in various conditions in mind. no worries. but then, after that day, i also scared lah. went hm 1st thing remove the batt n pop all my gears back into the dry cabi. that day was so humid that my lens condenses in my bag. Scary!!!!!

A700 have the moist and dust seal right.. guess should not be a problem..

who going to try try in sg? :o
