Its like 28mm to 70mm can use f2.8 . Of course you go all the way to f22 . |

constant 2.8 refers to a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range of 28mm-70mm. Some lenses have decreasing maximum aperture as the focal length gets longer. Cheers! |

Wah bro, selling your "award winning" portrait lens? Yes Darren, The constant only mean that the lens can use F2.8 at 28mm to 70mm. Of course you can use up to F22. |
