New FF lens will be released later, so need to wait too... I read from dyxum review, some lenses that are for FF performs worse in FF body (film) than APS-C. So, buying a FF lens now is quite a gamble too.. All reviews are based on APS-C camera. |

i guess is the coating. read from some articles, that some old lenses in the film era, dun really perform as well in digital sensor. but then, i have yet to experience that myself. so wonder how true isit. hehe. if can, i will buy new lenses, rather new body. |

For me body & lenses doesn't come in certain order, but matching. The one come in order are knowledges & skills. Knowledge -> Skill -> Body/Lenses In the beginning, no photography knowledge, no skill, just get a beginner body with kit lens. Later on, knowledge improve, skill mature (even cleaning skill), then understand the limit of body & lenses. Decent lens restrict the power of body, so does beginner body limit the power of good lens. So after while, you start to try better lens, better bodies, even better lens, higher end bodies.... Just to make sure the knowledges & skills does improve along the way, else that's just an excuse of putting the blame on equipment. Well, most of the time the limit is money? The real limit could be our knowledges & skills...

someone once mentioned something like this.. in order of importance and hence priority: photographer -> lens -> body personally i think, buy what you need, not what you want. if you've really outgrown the body- get a new one, but be sure you know what you're getting into and project how long you're gonna use it. if it's a lens, be sure to know that you're gonna use it and that you need it; even if you want to get your money's worth for the dry cabinet. :p |

Also try to think ahead if you can afford it e.g. buying an A350 then upgrade to A700 costs more than straight to A700 if you plan for it. Plan pays. |
