I like the #3 green bird. Is it just my office crt monitor or the head of bird #1 is really OOF? Maybe from too shallow DOF? Or head moving around? Details on the feathers already nice, should have been better with the head in focus as well. |

Thanks for the comments. As for bird#1, it was intend shot at widest aperture to test the lens performance & bokeh. Shallow DOF. You will notice NOT only the head area is OOF, left leg is also OOF while right leg is sharp, some small portion of the branch is sharp only. Note #1, #9, #10 are shot at F2.8 while others F4 or F4.5. |
