*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

need some advise.. should i get a Macbook or a Macbook Pro instead ?

i am shifting to Mac OS based computing ..

Mac book pro has a lot of processing power. In Reality, what you get is what you pay for. Consider your potential Return of Investment before you proceed.

Mac Book is a force to be reckoned with. You may not even need a Mac Book Pro to smoothly utilize content creation software:

I've recently attended the Adobe Masters Tour, and I see that the masters are doing demonstration of the Adobe CS3, running multiple CS3 software concurrently, usually 3 to 4 together - on a tiny Mac Book - and it runs smoothly.

But if you are having a PC based computer and it's still useful and in good running condition, do spare Mother Earth a thought and refrain from too much Electronic purchases. I was inclined to go Mac, but nowadays, what I can do on a PC, I can do it on a Mac as well (the line between the two are blurring...)

p.s. sensei, you last time advise us to save $$.. but now u seem to be purchasing a lot of stuff sia... :sweat:

macbook is a good buy becos our current windows based systems actually slows down a lot due to anti-virus applications..

saving money ? when there is a need to buy, u buy.. laptop is something i used almost 24hrs a day for work and messaging except weekends.
