To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

and what's your opinion on this lens bro? for that price i think its a reasonable alternative to the km/ sony 70-200 although it lacks ssm and optics may not produce the same quality in terms of bokeh and colour.

For that price it definely is reasonable, F2.8 dont play play haha. Image quality wise it really what you pay is what you get lo...

from what i read:

sigma 70-200 f2.8 : fast focus, ok image quality
tamron 70-200f2.8: slower focus, better image quality, slightly cheaper than sigma
Sony Nex-5 dual kit lens | VC 15mm f4.5 Super-wide Heliar | VC 40mm f1.4 Nokton

that's strange. so far i've found the opposite is true. all tamrons focus faster (AF) but produce softer images, sigmas are the opposite.

haha, this sigma lens was introduced 2 mths before the tamron one, yet the review came later. hmm, manufacturing got problem???
