Thanks everyone :fbounce: . It really meant something when you get it from half-one rather than own pocket.

No need to be envious lah  I am just an Alpha user without a long white lens. (Don't get me wrong, no hint being dropped here). :sofunny:

But I agree with what Celine wrote in the other thread, this is an expensive hobby. We will make sure it worth it by freezing those moments that we can pass to our children and families. We lost so much of my childhood and parent's younger days photos, those are lost moments.

Tips to couples:
1) Get on the same mount, you can share lenses. It's very expensive to get two systems in one house.
2) Get a buy-in from your spouse, either create an interest in her/him to pickup photography or at least understand how it meant for you i.e. to relax, to make friends, to document childrens, etc
3) Set aside budget that you can spent on your planned purchase. The morale is that one should not disrupt family finance significantly with impulse BBB
4) Treat your spouse well and s/he will return the kindness you've shown.
5) Share your photos with the family and shows that it also benefit the family
6) May not apply to all Be honest with your spouse on what you buy.
