Actually this is not a very chim topic lah. Just play around with the cam a bit and you will understand. Try shooting using various lighting conditions to help you understand faster. Nothing beats hands on and seeing the result yourself to experience the different effects. Reading will only help to an extend. |

I think to discuss this fully, need to touch on: - AWB and the various preset modes - temperature - C/M/G filter +1/2/3 - custom WB setting - WB cap - shooting in RAW/cRAW - PP - getting what you see / what should be the actual colour in natural sunlight Can't be more true, bro Galdor. Just pick it up and shoot the same pics with the different WB modes. See which ones you like best. Then try the custom temperatures to see how you can finetune it further. This applies to all models, so suggested to put in Newbies section. Edited by yktan9, Sep 30 2008, 07:27 PM.

The live view's resolution is not very great, especially under artificial lightings. Let's say if the light source is 6500k (from its specs), if I set the A300's WB to 6500k, I should get the right WB, correct? |
