My first serious attempt with HDR...I first used the trial version of Photomatix, merged the pics in different exposures together, did tone mapping then went on to PS to do some final adjustments. Im bad in the cloning tool...so I can only leave the watermarks of Photomatix alone. I dun really know how to do up HDR in PS as yet.

More than willing to accept any comments and help.... :)

You are good bro!.....cant really see the watermarks except for the one within the trees...but its awesome!

I understand the idea of cloning is to blow up as big as possible so that the 'mistakes' will be less apparent ya? I think i will seriously try it soon.....you just inspired me! :)

lol...thank you so much...ive loaded the 'revised' pic in my flickr and have dedicated the pic to u! :p But pls let me know if u wan it removed and I will do it immediately ya.

Back to HDR....ive downloaded the tutorial for PS and will try it soon....personally...would like to ask if most hobbyists use PS or Photomatix to do it? I find Photomatix quite userfriendly but of course the watermarks will be there if its a trial version.

Haha.. Thanks for the dedication.
Why would I want it removed haha.. It's your own picture!
It's the other way round (if you want me remove from my flickr. I saved in private setting though, which is not viewable from my flickr)

Anyway OT a bit. .. Changi Boardwalk there.. I have not been there but planning to in near future.. But are there many birds around?

Yes! Actually there were 2 king fishers on a stump protruding out of the water. Very nice effect as their reflections can be seen on the water too. I tried to wade a lil nearer to them but with just my kit lens, i could not go near enough...plus my wading in the water freaked them out. :(

I also saw some eagles (could not ID them for nuts...) and the common crows, mynahs....and yeah...i saw a common white crane too.

Anyway, Ive just gotten a 300mm zoom lens and I will definitely go back there for more! :)
