I use the HDR method bro...still in the learning phase. ![]() I did some reading up and tested it for the first time. Idea is to take several shots of the same scene with diff exposures, then merge em together. You would like to read up on this bro... Photoshop HDR Tutorial Theres quite a number of things to take note of....if u r intersted, we may meet up and do some shoots together. ![]() |

The best try to shoot 5 frame of different exposure. Then process it using photomatix sofware which is famous for HDR process. Can see this link which I posted in this thread for quite sometime. I even include the work flow. mdzmr HDR enjoy |

Nice one. Another pointers, try to avoid those like thunderstorm clouds. Best effects on sky is to shoot during morning sunrise and also sunset for more dramatic skyline. If possible use a filter either GND or CPL. |

Thanks bro...I will...reason to avoid the thunderstorm clouds...is it because the storm clouds do not blend with the 'light' effect on the rocks? Ive read in threads somewhere that for a good HDR pic to work, it has to show relatedness....something like nice cloud cover and landscape that fits the sky... Is that the reason?

Yap... The other best effects is to get the silky sea-water. This is where the complication is. You have to play with ur exposure and the aperture of ur cam setting. Edited by red dwarf, Dec 30 2008, 10:46 AM.
