To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

There has been keen interest developing amongst motor-sports enthusiasts in drifting. A drift is actually a controlled 4 wheel skid. It is often used in rallying where surfaces are often slippery and traction is low but is frowned on by track racers who prefer to power through bends. As such, I never took much interest in it as a sport but it is entertaining especially when special tyres are used to generate smoke. At the Carriesta Jamboree they brought in D1 drift champion, Nobi Taniguchi, to wow the audience.
