Would like to find out if the HSM lens by sigma works on Sony? On side note, I will be attending a POP for my brother this coming march. Hence I am wondering if I shld get 70-400mm G or sigma 70-200mm HSM? |

Sigma's HSM does not work on Sony bodies as far as I know. I would recommend the 70-210mm f4 beercan instead. If you have more dough to spare then get the Sony 70-200mm G SSM. |

I wouldn't say not recommended, but it depends on how far away are you away. Do you need the 400mm range? Besides the 70-400mm is from f4-5.6mm, are you ok to shoot handheld? |

Actually, it's really quite a distance from my experience eons ago. Anyway, I didn't bother to take pictures also. Nothing special to me and the parade is quite fast even for my brother's OCS POP. Most people just used a PnS and take close up shots or group shots with their buddies after the parade. If you really want to take shots, then go for the 70-400mm bah. |

paging for mahojazz.. 70-400G is a very new lens, therefore not likely to get a lot of feedbacks. Would recommend you coming down to MS Color this Sunday at 3pm as there is a CNY gathering. We might be able to play with it again. Btw, what is the street price for this one? |
