Canon granted patent for faster (working?) Live View autofocus Link --------------------------------------------------------------------- For the consumer less professional, or the Live View screen preview of digital SLR cameras is one of the biggest attractions in suggesting that the field study must be done at present to decide on a purchase. Have the best system is thus essential for a brand. Sony has a very good system in its digital SLR, which mirrors the distribution of the system not knocked classical approach and Canon seems to be based on this idea for an improvement in their system DSLR. Canon seeking a patent issued recently to improve the auto, which contrasts the current system, is a little slow. |

bro is that some system/ google translation? i *think* i get it... haha... i assume this patent is for newer liveview technology that allows faster AF and not liveview as a general concept, and retrospectively. otw the other manufacturers will have to pay royalty to canon like apple compensated creative for the ipod's scroll menu.. |

IMO, NO view. i still prefer the traditional view/ challenge of looking through the VF only. even for difficult macro shots
