OK, saw some interesting article at DPReview on the new tilt-shift lens by Canon. I did a little search and found a few tilt-shift lenses that are available for Minolta or Sony Alpha as well.

I am curious anyone got one? Has anyone seen such lenses selling in SG?

its MC mount (the old minolta mount), you'll need a converter. and no, i've not seen that version selling locally, though a number on ebay - abt S$700 range iirc. useful for ppl who shoot lots of buildings but frankly perspective can be easily corrected in PS.

To focus infinity using MC lens, you need a converter (with glass, not just those adapters).
That's additional cost.

See Manual Focus Lens Section in TC and Adapters in dyxum.com.

There will be magnification factor, and if u use generic ones, deterioration in picture quality.

p/s while doing research, don't be too quick to assume Haoda converters are good. Might not be anything better than China generic ones.

They are A-mount actually if you read one of the review comment ..

Galdor has mentioned it somewhere in another thread before (dunno which)..

"As of this writing (Spring 2007), the ARSAT/Arax MC 35 is the only 35mm shift (and tilt) off-the-shelf lens available in the SONY/Minolta AF SLR mount."
