Well, only by the size of the bokeh, one can determine more or less the focal length and perhaps the aperture size. Though of the three, one look and you can see which is the longest lens of the bunch - the other two are less discernible. Frankly, I wouldn't have been able to determine which is which - if - the lenses are of the same aperture and focal length. There shouldn't be any appreciable difference I guess, if - you bring in the 200mm f2.8 of all the 3 FF brands together and made a comparison, and post minuscule 0.4264 mpx photos as a comparison. As before the difference is with the wielder of the camera.

From a newbie eye, I prefer C. Is it me, or the bokeh in C seems smoother? B looks very "busy", A looks too blur. IMHO, if they are shoot from the same angle with the same background, would give a more fair comparison. Then again, not sure how pro would rate them. By the way, there is no need to guess, all the info about the pictures can be found in the image's exif. Just my 2c... |

that shot by canon bokeh look smoother becos the focus length was 300mm. hence, the background is more compressed. that is why the subject look more isolated |
