That why I intend to get a cannon or nikon body just for astrophotography. As I don't required an IS body. For the CZ or G lens it doesn't important to me unless CZ or Sony do have 'G' telescope.

In doing astronomy, time is main factor. If possible capture with a shortest time. I experience once, shooting at 5 mins exposure at ISO800 and my cam over heat. So I guess you know why certain system is very useful for certain type of photography.

Asking this question only shows how much u know about Alpha when u buy it..................

Shoot wedding dinner at ISO 1600, biggest F-stop is 2.8......printout 4R photo without any NR done and pass to client......
Maybe my client just like grainy colour photo

Though i still do not have any Alpha FF & the issue on ISO is always there & i think it had been settled with the correct 'Technique' used , the ISO is hardly visible & always acceptable even if its at ISO1600 .

I am still a newbie with DLSR but all i have to say is , I LOVE MY ALPHA & I HATE YOU !

Maybe you can ask yourself how often you do prints ? If most of the time you are looking at your photos on the monitor , give those noisy ISO800 & above photos some cleaning & they can be as smooth as it can be !

Even without PP , photos shot with ISO800 , for 4R prints , after they process & print , the noise cannot be seen at all .

Think about it Bro , unless you are telling yourself that you wanted to make a jump ?

"compare and contrast" topics has been discussed to death.
At the end of the day,the 3 giant delivers almost on par qualities. One might have added edge over the other due to larger marketing budgets but that's about it.

Nevertheless, like what many bros have said there are advantages and disadvantages to every system. Putting it short, the machine is usually not the weakest link - though I reckon, it might take a few system changes and a few thousand dollars before a man reaches the point of epiphany.

Cool! Keep it coming!! I am getting more views and opinions and I love it! I guess you people are right. We have the IS and that is a really big advantage over the ISO since I like to do more portraits than landscape. Anyhow, keep the thread alive! Any Sony users who also owns a Canon or Nikon to give a well balanced view?

Trigger Happy, this is really fun.
