Any idea why Sony release these new models without any HW Spec improvement on features and sensors?

Yeap.. a BIG ? from me as well..

Don't get it. Maybe they want to re-define the ID for Sony DSLR. Seems like for the new lens, there is a change on the grip.

unless it a hoax, or typical of sony - huge emphasis on marketing but weak on the technical delivery..

Canon 500D featured a 921k resolution lcd screen with video function
Nikon D5000 featured a swivel and tiltable lcd screen with video function
olympus e620 featured 7 double cross af point with swivelable and tiltable lcd screen and the micro-adjustment for up to
20 lenses....to the extent that users are able to adjust/tweak every single focusing points...
specs and features wise, competitors had very attractive lineup for their new dslrs...
compare to ours beside the revamp ui....supposely lighter body and lower capacity batt(to allow for smaller, lighter body)
no change in megapixel and again no video(i'm really surprise)

Bro, if the prices for the new series is as indicated, its a sign that sony wants to hve a share of the DSLR market badly.. :ashamed:

For that amt, its ard the price of a high end PNS... :knock:

If A380Y cost $1050, dat means used A300/A350 can forget abt sell n upgrade.. :banghead:

Maybe dats y sony product got no resale value as the new models release is too often to the liking of consumers..
A300 / DT18-70 / DT 16-105 / DT 55-200 / F58AM
