To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Hahahah,Whether it is ccd or cmos it really doesn't matter to me loh, 'cos i'm not the man behind the camera,almost all my pictures are oof or out of color :kowtow: only need shifu now and learn more hor...... :sweat: all my picture ..... :sofunny:

@CA, you use PNS also can produce damn good result since you are the master of PS :kowtow: dunno when i can be your disciple...

@Excel-Glsi, does FF have SuperCMOS as well? it must be tough on S if they have :sweat:

i remember reading up that minolta was one who used coatings to mix balance between colour and contrast.

and since CMOS is said to lose out to CCD in terms of colour, perhaps we could once again look at coating to fix the colour problem?

technology always improve. Someday, there might be a sensor that will be better than any. that info has been said so many years ago and will no longer be valid. What we are talking now may no longer be valid tomorrow. just the same when we are talking about Intel and AMD. What makes good image is not the sensor, but ur skills.

CCD is excellent at low ISO but consume more energy. High dynamic range.
CCD produce better image or sharper than CMOS.



CMOS is very good for high ISO with acceptable noise level and consume less energry.
CMOS is easier to implement and fabriation costs much much cheaper to CCD.
