... Discouraged ... ? ... Demoralized ... ? Don't let this happened again lor . This is when BBB comes in to attack you if you are not strong enough , and it's going to hurt a bit ... Most had said whatever that's needed to be said and I second third them all . For me , I belongs to the never like other brands to look down type , though I am nowhere to taking good pictures ... But I ever told myself that when I take out my Alpha , I just want others to keep quiet . I may be wrong to think this way but I am glad I did also . Gears is something we used that people around us will see first . Then whether they see our photos , that's another issue . I only post my photos here and all c&cs are welcome . And I like the way I used to be . I may be quite aggressive on gears before , but soon , I realized that it's not going to work in the long run . I soon come to understand that everyone had said that camera is just a tool to take pictures , and it's the man behind the camera ... BBB is not so strong in me nowadays . Bro ,take care of your Alpha , stay with us and start taking more photos of what you like . Don't let the 'others' influenced you by their brand and setup . Apologies if I had used any offensive words or comments here . Finally , I Love My Alpha and I ... |

way to go Ming~* Dear Bruce Lee, please dont let others affect the way and the hobby that you have chose to take up. Most importantly, we have to enjoy it and I believe in the person that is behind the camera that makes a difference. till then, we can all learn together... It is just like a musician with brand X and Y instrument but regardless of the built or the quality of the instrument, it is the ability of the musician to bring forth great music out of them and to be able to maximise its potential. Cheers and hope you will feel encouraged by the alphadslr family~*

I'm just a Newbie Cameraman

Yes bro, how can I forget them. That's why I stated in my post '(just to name a few as the list will be long)'. There are just too many good photographers using the Alpha system.

Bruce don't get disheartened with what other user said on ur cam. When I shooting astro with my A100, some joker said how can I do it with my A100. They said so far nobody did that with A100, they recommend me to canon and also nikon. But I manage to proof them wrong. Maybe I'm the onli one in SG using A100 for astrophotography but actually there few guys in Australia and also Europe use Sony Alpha. This to say also that Alpha cam is also capable in Astrophotography. And also to say that not ur equipment that make ur image amaze to others, its ur skill and technical knowledge that count. No matter how expensive and even the best 'G' lens you used, if you don't have a skills and some knowledge, ur pics look like shit mean it look like shit. Its you who operate the ur gears and its who make ur pics look like shit so don't blame that ur equipments is not good or not up to professional standard. Cheer up bro. Honestly, nothing satisfy others. Just trust urself and whatever gears u have. |

Always Newbie

Bro, just keep shooting and ignore the Q 'Why Sony?' I think it depends on who look at your cam...some will say 'why sony?' but some will say 'WOW Sony!'. ...just learn the basics, explore more of your equipment and get the best out of it, and most importantly - Shoot, shoot & shoot and share, let the folks criticize your shot and look at the positive side of every comment and you'll get where you want to be. Shoot more to learn more and Let the 'Pics talk' and equipment becomes secondary (for me at least :)) |
