Recommended Hotel: Prudential Hotel at Jordan MTR  Budget: less than S$100 (use this link - cheaper than the main hotel webpage - http://www.hotelclub.com/Default.asp) - http://www.prudentialhotel.com/ Actually it's difficult to find a hotel cost less than S$100 in HK. This one of the few and it's located just above Jordan MTR. Hotel room is clean and comfortable - highly recommended.  Recommended restaurants: Die Die Must try.. this congee breakfast restaurant - Sang Kee (when you are there.. you will be surprise.. just go in and eat) - ADDRESS: G/F, 7-9 Burd Street, Sheung Wan Sheung Wan MTR Station, Exit A2 There is this noodle shop near Causeway bay MTR - At Sogo, you need to cross the junction road and turn left.. During lunch time, you will see long Q in front of this noodle shop Wing Kee Noodle shop Address: 27A Sugar Street, Causeway Bay Yummy  - http://jivekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/02/made-your-own-soup-wing-kee-noodle.htmlAfter the noodle, can cross over to this ice-cream shop and order the green-tea icecream. I'm not sure.. never stay in Mongkok before.. but hor, hotel in Mongkok is cheap.. but the BBB surrounding is expensive.

Mongkok is where you can get all the BBB virus.. Usually I'll ask myself this question - will I stay in the same hotel if I'm back in HK in future.. for this hotel Prudential - answer is YES. (It's just at the exit of Jordan MTR.. very convenience.) - provided the room rate is still below $100.

Think i stayed at metropark mong kok before (used to be called metropole mongkok if i remember correctly). Quite a reasonably priced hotel, compared to the others. But lately it became a h1n1 hit hotel, but no more now. |
