To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

FYI: Pls check the 114mm front AC CLR filter (sometime missing) expensive & rare, 42mm rear filter CPL (optional item) which is very expensive & rare.

I don't own this lens. Note the AF focusing speed is just good enough while the SSM version is instant or immediate.
If you have the money, buy the original (SONY or Minolta). SONY one include the 42mm rear filter CPL and all newer design tele prime lens do not come with front filter. Hood has to always put on. For minolta, there is no service part and not supported by SSC.
