Good job bro, you are getting there. Here are a few pointers for your consideration.

1. Portrait framing - Typically, try to go for either 1/3 (Model:frame) or 2/3 in your composition for a start. You can experiment with other proportions once you get the hang of it. This also applies to landscape, architecture, etc etc.
2. Go for a tighter crop (esp, if you are not making use of the background - eg. leading lines to subject). Try not to have too much space above the head. Its also ok to crop at the hair level or even forehead level.
3. Cropping the arms and legs - If you are going to crop the arms, try to crop somewhere between shoulder and elbow. Cropping below the elbow can appear a bit unnatural. Best avoided, unless its deliberate. For legs, either you crop at the thigh or show the whole leg. Its nicer that way.
4. Cropping the subject - Typical model crops - Headshot, 1/2 body (to hip area), 3/4 body (to thighs) and full body.
5. Beware of the background clutter - Try to angle your shots such that the background object does not interfere with your subject. Eg. lamp post / Mast / Pillar behind model head.
6. Watch the horizon - When framing your shot, try no to have the horizon cut the subject's neck or head. Some people are quite particular about it.
