The National Museum is one very tough place to shoot, backgrounds that get intruded by a lot of places, security guards that pounce on anybody fixing tripods and lightings...

It's a good effort, considering that u guys managed to get a shoot done there... I think I wouldn't have done it any better myself if I was in there, because being outside a shoot is different from being involved in the shoot myself... but here are some takes from an outsider's point of view:

#1 The shot is generally good, in composition - perhaps you may be a bit limited by the location - is a bit sayang: the leading lines - 1 created between the boundary of the rock and the carpet grass ends in the middle of the picture behind the stone wall and not leading towards Jennifer, and the other one, less visible, but apparent further on the upper right corner of the photo made between the shadowed and lighted portion of the grass, leads to the rather messy road in the background.

In terms of reflector fill light, it's chest/upper-body biased - her chest has been lighted up a bit too strongly in comparison to her thighs and calves, there is shadow on her shoulder, but diminished on the neck. That is, besides her cleavage, the form of her right upper body has almost disappeared because the shadow zones of her right arms has been filled in fully despite the sun's apparently very high... (looks like 11am sunlight) Also, the neck was lit bright enough that her jawline almost disappears into the neck.

You might want to experiment for alternatives ways of getting her form to appear - like shooting with reflector further away (giving her form by retaining shadows, and also, the shadows on her thighs and calves can be lit up as well but subtly), light her from the front rather than from bottom, so her shoulder / neck shadow wouldn't be too uneven.

#2 You might want to do a double take at Jennifer's arms, the lower arms look pretty hairy (even when sized down) and rather tanned as compared to the rest of her body... there seemed to be a tank top tan line running down her shoulder - giving her an uneven complexion. Also, her face is actually quite round, and with her hair pulled back, so there are some angles, like shooting from downwards, which accentuates her rounded features even more. Besides, do watch out for the door handle behind her.

Hat might be a bit too dark and almost devoid of detail... :)

#3 Not sure if the classic "Stomach Ache" pose would work for this one, from down up, she looked... rather short in the wide composition, and thus rather... crumpled... Also, the big poster behind Jennifer is "sayang" also... T___T and... the "tank top tan line" rather visible here as well.

#4 The background is quite busy: Yellow line on the wooden floor - a slightly bokeh-ed but visible tube growing out from the middle of her head, wire growing from top right corner on a tree. Also, like the hat in #2, the dress is rather dark - details almost disappeared.

and... @ willis - oei... uncle... the that rod + sphere necklace (rolled into bracelet mode in #1 and #2) dates back to 2007 lor... :P Yeah I still remember that one - Rachel's shoot almost 2 years ago lo... :nail:

hehehe... :neener: :coming:

Hope you won't mind my comments...
