I'm trying to install a Snow Leopard on my MacBook to see if that really fast and thin as claimed.. Anyone has tried it so far?

It's a full 64-bit operating system from Apple. When applications are made only for 64-bit later, it may be faster. How much faster, no one knows yet.

Just installed, seems to be less cluttered as claimed and easier installation.
I'll move on to Snow Leopard tomorrow as primary system in MB.

Tried Windows 7 a couple week ago, quite fast and better than Vista for sure.

I think, MAC OS has some kind of hardware lock, so even though is using Intel CPU, we can not install in normal Intel PC or laptop.

It has some encryption on the binaries, so won't work out of box in PC.

There are projects called 'Hackintosh' that allows you to run Mac OS X in your PC-based notebook, netbook or desktop.

I have dual boot WinXP and OSX in my Thinkpad x61 :) Search for these distribution iDeneb, iPC, or iatkosv7i
