Good feature. will be useful for macro photography. Look like the A550 is a more interesting camera than the A850. Good high iso and high fps. |

Yes... Same here, it also has built in HDR and capable to do it while hand held. I was told, the other camera that can do this would need to be mounted on a tripod. |

I think is suitable for any static object. By the way, from the A500/A550 spec, in this mode: * Live View with CMOS Exmor sensor * Metering varies according to shooting mode * 100% frame coverage * Display: Real-time image adjustment display (White balance, Sunset/ B&W of Creative Style, Exposure Compensation) * Zoom (x7.0/x14.0), Grid line display Since it is using the CMOS Exmor sensor to give a high-resolution preview of picture, would this substitution of DOF preview feature? Since I am able to fine tune the focusing, shouldn't I be able to see how the DOF from the live view as well? For someone who never seen the DOF preview feature, it just make me wonder... Anyway, just a thought... |
