*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

ok, u guys are doing awesome with the Alpha cameras. There must be something im NOT doing that you guys are. My photos do NOT look like these at all .... must i be doing something wrong?

Hi EyeCature,

Most of my photos had gone through some degree of post processing either in LR or photoshop. I think it’s unrealistic to expect this type of result straight out of the camera. The camera’s job is to faithfully reproduce the scene as close as possible but they are rather dull most of the time.

To give your photos the extra lift or punch, you would have to move on to the next phase, i.e. the post production phase. This is the process that will differentiate your photos from the rest.

Most of the photographers will tell you that the first half of photography is composition and capturing the moments, the second half is in the darkrooms. Technologies has brought the darkroom into the comfort of our house, why not utilize it? :thumbsup1:
