*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

What Lens for a300?

Shoot first with the kit lens lah. If you have money to spare, get the used Sony or sought-after Minolta ones. At least if you feel they don't suit your shooting style after a while, can still sell back in the B & S market. Price hardly drop much as compared to getting a new Sony lens. Newbies mah ... test water first before diving into the abyss.
Yah newbie mah, that's why think think and ask around 1st mah.

Just want to learn and know more, to be prepared.

Don't know much that's why left out the question about what i want to shoot. Hoping someone kindhearted would volunteer to give some examples on the lens and it's use.

Err... If you don't know what you want, then very difficult to suggest.

Careful ah, if you just want to "try", you may end up with a serious infection of BBB virus. :devil:
