There is a flash extender for the SONY Flash. Bought one long ago at CP for F56 flash and still using it on the F58. For DIY can check with Koh. |

Just check the one I have.... the model is FX-2. From this website http://www.synvis.com/FlashXtender.htm FX-2 is stated to fit "Minolta 5600HS or any flash head with height of 1-3/4 inch." |

materials: magnifier sheet (10x15cm) <$1 tough cardboards <$1 vinly tape (or scotch tape, find a strong one or it will tear) Elastic band (If you can find those seen those white 1cm band used for shorts) How to do: Cut the board into shapes like the real beamer's support. Tape the magnifier sheet to the 2 boards Elastic band the whole thing to your flash. If you got more ideas later on for DIY on this, you can change the elastic band to Velcro as you go along further modify your "beamer" Can save $70-80 bucks once you understand how the beamer is constructed. Just tape |

very interesting idea, but how do we know the length in between the magnifier sheet and the flash head ? similarly, does the size of the magnifier sheet matters ? |
